Performance Opportunities

Interested in performing in our concerts?  Here's how:

Dance Companies & Crews

Online Submission Form

Dance Houston provides performance opportunities for many of Houston's newest and best dance companies. Please submit your company information online to be considered for upcoming concerts.  To receive more information including submission due dates, join our mailing list and specify when prompted that you are a dance company director. We will send you a notice when we are accepting applications for a concert (typically 2 - 3 months prior to the concert).  Please check out our online videos or DVDs of past shows (available on our online store) to see if your company might be interested in participating in one of our festivals.

Dancers

We are always looking for the city's best dancers to perform in work that we produce for corporate events and private parties.  We send auditions notices through a mailing list and post them on our facebook.  To receive audition notices, sign up for our mailing list and specify you are a dancer when prompted.

Dance Houston festivals are exciting, challenging, and inspiring! In sharing the stage with 100 - 200 dancers in a single show, our festivals are a unique setting in which dancers of many styles get to shine. Because our festivals feature dance companies, most dancers who perform with us are a part of one of the participating companies in any given concert.  Company applications are accepted throughout the year and we will send you notices if you sign up for our mailing list and specify that you are a dancer when prompted.  Occasionally we work with independent dancers who possess unique and highly developed gifts, so please call us at (713) 526-1049 if you would like to be considered for a special engagement.

Choreographers & Independent Artists

Dance Houston helps foster the development of new choreographers in Houston and we love supporting Houston debuts. We have sponsored and produced premiere works for emerging choreographers like Urban Souls Dance Company's Harrison Guy, and we've introduced artists who are new to town like NobleMotion's Andy and Dionne Noble. The best way to receive information regarding choreographic opportunities is by joining our mailing list and specifying that you are a choreographer when prompted. We'll be in touch to help you find your niche and make your mark in the Houston dance community.
