Tickets FAQ
Where can I get tickets?
You can order them online or get them the evening of the show. Phone sales are open during office hours the week of a show.
How do I physically get my tickets?
If you purchase your tickets more than 7 days in advance of the concert, they will be mailed to the address you provide. Otherwise, please pick them up at WILL CALL under your last name. If you purchased your tickets 8 or more days ago and still haven't received them, please call the box office at 713.526.1049 and we will be happy to assist you.
What time is the WILL CALL/Box Office open?
1 hour before each concert and 15 minutes after the performance starts
Can I pick out my seats?
Yes. Seats are allocated by best available in each section on a first come, first served basis. Internet orders and telephone orders receive the same priority. Calling the box office will allow you to talk to a customer service representative about what is currently available in each section.
What about parking?
Theater district parking is $7. Entrances are on Texas and Prarie. Limited street parking is available and generally free after 6pm.
How long is the concert?
Approximately 2 hours.
Is there an intermission?
Yes. Please enjoy the refreshments offered in the lobby and say hi to us at our stand. We have promotional materials available for you to peruse and pick up and we offer DVDs and T-shirts for purchase.
What is the late seating policy?
Late seating is limited to the short pause that occurs between dance pieces. At that time, the ushers will guide you to a seat near the back of the theater.
Is the concert appropriate for children?
Yes, definitely! Children enjoy our concerts so much so that they don't mind sitting still for a couple hours. It also depends on the parent and child. Many of our dancers move and dress like the dancers you see on primetime MTV, Fox 26, and BET. All our performers agree to abide by our Artistic Guidelines which state that performances must be to entertain, educate, and/or enrich the audience, and must not include profanities, indecent language or messages.
What is the dress code?
We suggest party casual or more formal attire.
Can we videotape/photograph?
Photos and videos may not be taken at concerts at the Wortham Center. High quality, professional DVDs and photos will be available for purchase online. (store)
Can I get a confirmation code?
Yes. Google checkout will provide you a receipt for your purchase which you can use as confirmation. Phone sales will not be given a code but arrangements can be made to e-mail you a receipt confirmation.
What are the ticket fees?
There is a $1.50 facility fee on each ticket and a $1.00 shipping and handling fee on each order. (Hint: ordering all your tickets at once is less expensive than ordering each ticket separately.) We understand fees are annoying, which is why we are committed to maintaining the very lowest in the arts and entertainment industry by doing our own ticket sales.
We really do care about giving your experience and we're here to serve you. Common seating requests are side aisle seats, middle seats, seats halfway to the back or more, and front row seats. We often break groups of 8 or more into two separate rows so everybody can sit in a clump.
Please note that we do check our voicemail messages up until noon on the day of the show. Feel free to leave us comments or special requests and we will see to them during office hours.
What is the Student/Senior discount?
$5 off any ticket, depending on the concert. For advance sales, please call our box office at 713.526.1049. ID required at pick-up.
Can I get a receipt?
Yes. You can print the one off of Google which contains all your purchase information. For phone orders, we can email you a receipt. We can even text it to you if you want.
What if I want to buy some adult tickets and some student tickets?
Please place these two orders separately. If you'd like for the adults and students to sit in the same section, then buy both sets for that section. We will seat groups with the same last name or address together unless specified otherwise (by calling us at 713-526-1049).
