Board Service

Dance Houston is looking for professional, community, and civic leaders who are interested in serving on our Board of Directors. We have several positions available. Ideal candidates have a passion for dance and diversity, vast social networks, general business backgrounds, and/or specific skills in HR, fund-raising, PR, and arts education.

Dance Houston serves artists and children in our community through dance.  We help at-risk youth in our summer camps and in HISD schools, and our health and wellness program helps children struggling with obesity.  We also produce festivals at the Wortham and Hobby Center that feature local dance companies performing diverse styles of dance.  Our services create new jobs for many of the most gifted dancers and choreographers in Houston.
